Our Wireless Remote Shut Off for the Honda EU2000i and EU2200i will allow you to shut off your generator without having to get out of your comfortable bunk or sleeping bag and fight mosquitoes or rain in order to do so.
I developed this Wireless Remote Shut Off in response to customer requests for a way to shut off their generator by remote control. The three main constraints that I set out to achieve in this kit are keep it inexpensive, easy to install and no special tools should be needed. This product is totally plug and play, just watch the step by step video included in the kit and follow the simple instructions. This product has also been very popular with over the road truck drivers that need an inexpensive alternative to a dedicated APU. A Honda EU2200i not only cost far less than a dedicated APU but if it fails for any reason, you simply replace it in a few minutes instead of having to put your rig in the shop for several days.

As you may know I am the developer of the original wireless remote control electric start Honda EU2000i generator. That kit sold for $1200.00 and was very complicated to install, as a result of those two issues I sold less than ten of those kits. In 2015 I sold that design to another company and developed this kit as a low cost easy to install alternative. Please do not misunderstand, that was a beautiful kit and I learned a lot from building it, but it was not a good seller. I think the main thing that I learned was, do not try to sell a $1200.00 accessory for a generator that only cost $1000.00, there is not much demand for it. As far as I know the company that bought the design has not put it into production yet, they may be trying to come up with a less expensive way to build it. Thanks Paul for the remote shut off for my Honda. It was quick to set up, tested it and works well!! It will serve its purpose when I don’t have to shut off the gas manually and worrying about bears in the bush. My husband will have no worries now while he’s away and I’m at camp. I love camping at our off grid cabin in the Arkansas. We power our little piece of heaven with a Honda EU2000i which is located about 100′ away in a shed. Barely know it is running from that distance. But, we don’t want it running all night, so one of us (me) has to go out there at bedtime to shut it off. Not a problem when it is nice outside and I have my shoes on, but if it is cold, windy, and rainy….not so much. Pinellas Power Products’ wireless remote shut off is great, as is their service. I emailed them with some questions…ON A WEEKEND…and they got back to me on the same day. My situation also required some adjustments which they readily acommodated…..and did I say the price is right? I can now curl up in my warm winter’s bed….push a button…..turn off the generator…..and go to sleep.

Pinellas Power Products- Top rate service-great item- Wireless remote control. We use Honda 2000i up in Northern Canada (IroquoisFalls,Ontario Canada) almost the arctic and have been using it for many years. No Issues what so ever. Was so happy to find this product .No more venturing out in freezing temperatures to shut off generator.
Who says customer service is dead. Paul was great with my questions and concerns. Highly recommend.
