Our Powerhorse 7500i Remote Plug and harness will allow you to easily build your own wired remote control by connecting a momentary contact switch between the two wires. This harness can also be used to connect your generator to an Automatic Generator Start Controller if you choose.

The Powerhorse 7500i was released only a couple years ago and has already become the standard to which all others are compared. It has proven it self as a reliable camping generator and as a back up power supply for other situations. If you are setting up an off grid solar power plant for a cabin or as your primary home you will benefit from a back up power supply. Overcast days and high power use days can drain the main battery array voltage very quickly. Using a Powerhorse 7500i in conjunction with an automatic generator starter is made easy with my remote plug and harness. You can set up many different automatic generator starters to start your generator based on several different criteria, such as battery bank voltage level, time of day and ambient temperature. This item can also be used to build your own wired remote control by simply extending the wires and putting a momentary contact switch at the end.

This item is a remote plug and harness for the Powerhorse 7500i with a 48 inch lead wire set that can be used to connect the Powerhorse 7500 to a Generator start controller such as A and E Power Equipment or Magnum Energy ME-AGS-S or ME-AGS-N (Magnum Energy ME-AGS-S) system or (Atkinson Electronics G.S.C.M.). This item will come assembled with the wires needed to start and stop the generator encased inside a flexible sleeve.

Before purchasing an automatic generator start controller you should contact the manufacturer to make sure their unit will control a generator that uses a momentary contact two wire start stop configuration.
